You can verify vessel registration certificates, seafarer competency licences, company authorizations, safety survey certificates, and any other official document bearing the seal of the Department of Maritime Authority – Republic of Uganda.

If a valid certificate isn't found, it may be: (1) recently issued and pending database sync (allow 24-48 hours), (2) issued by a different authority, or (3) contain a data entry error. Contact our support team with a copy of your certificate for manual verification.

No. Certificate verification is completely free for all users. This service is provided by the Department of Maritime Authority to promote transparency, safety, and trust in Uganda's maritime sector.
